How is it suppose to fit?
A motorcycle jacket should fit like a second skin for the maximum protection in case of a fall. For proper fit use a cloth tape measure and measure around the largest part of your chest, that is the number that most men’s jackets are sized by. Most people will need to look at the size that they just measured and move up to the next closest size; for example if you measure a 47 inch chest you would fall into the Large size bracket but may be snug so rounding up to the next even number (48-49) then an Extra Large may be more accommodating and comfortable.

As mentioned before, thickness of the leather is important for safety and protection as thicker is better but too thick is uncomfortable.  The optimal thickness for a riding jacket should be 1.3mm to 1.5mm thick, yet 1.5mm to 1.6mm may be helpful in colder climates.
